Clients’ Assessment of My Performance
I value honest client evaluation to both improve my own performance and to help report on my own success (or areas for improvement). In addition to a standard close-out meeting, in which I discuss the results of the consulting engagement, I invite my clients to complete an online survey. This survey is designed to address my performance through the lens of my three major value categories (I find that any more values can be too confusing to remember and manage to):
- Be True: As an iconic tv character once said, “every man must have a code.” I believe this, and work to demonstrate
integrity in every aspect of business and life. I value being honest, open, and honourable, and engage in business in a manner that represents these core values. - Be Good: I truly believe that it is important to be good to others and ourselves. I value acting in the interest of our clients, and truly consider their needs and interests in my services and actions.
- Bring Value: I believe that my services must provide clear value for my clients, and I work hard to provide both immediate and long-term value for my clients.
I am proud to report that my clients appreciate the quality and delivery of my services. As shown in the embedded figure, my clients have rated me highly in all three categories.
