Alex Whitehouse, B.Eng, MBA, PMP
Alex Whitehouse has advised over 100 organizations in the public and private sectors in Canada and Asia. With his engineering background and management experience, Alex has been able to provide a range of services, including:
- Program and Service Evaluation: Alex has evaluated over 160 programs and services, to improve their relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency. He specializes in integrating with government teams to develop their internal capacity to lead and coordinate reviews, which he has found as a better approach to creating stakeholder buy-in and developing stronger recommendations
- Project Management: Alex has over nine years practical experience in project management, including providing project management services for projects cumulatively valued over $6 billion
- Business Planning and Analysis: Alex has provided extensive support to small and mid-size enterprises in Canada, to help them evaluate commercial opportunities, expand into new markets, and redesign business processes
- Facilitation and Training: Alex Whitehouse is a dynamic, experienced facilitator who has facilitated well over 125 courses, workshops, and focus groups with a range of clients, from entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses to executives in major public and private sector organizations
Alex was born and raised on Vancouver Island, and has lived in Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver (although he still is a Habs fan at heart). He is a designated Project Management Professional (PMP), with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Royal Roads University.
